Sometimes we accidentally hit ourselves in the face with our tail. That's when we are kind of wagging it (like a dog) when we experience great pleasure.
Does your tail wake you up sometimes when you are napping? Mine does when it flicks me in the face, then I have to put my paw on it so it won't do it again.
